Andy Henry, M.Div.

I am a native Morrow County resident who grew up in the area, lived in Kansas and Oregon, then came back. After moving back and graduating from seminary, I started a ministry called Recovering Abundance. Recovering Abundance seeks to nurture renewal in rural communities through writing, retreats, gatherings, and workshops. You can learn more on the Facebook or Twitter page and at www.recoveringabundance.com.

I'm excited about what The People Place is doing in our community and grateful to join in the work. Some of the topics and experiences we can explore include:

  • Creating a Rule/Rhythm of Life

  • Journaling as Spiritual Practice

  • Scripture and Agriculture

  • Sabbath-Keeping

  • Walking the Labyrinth

  • Enneagram Personality Types

  • Celtic or Desert Spirituality

  • Shalom: A Vision of Renewed Community

Let me know if there is a topic related to theology, community, or spiritual practices that interests you.

Private Sessions

Also, if you are looking for a companion to explore your personal practice and spiritual journey, I do practice spiritual direction. My Quaker background informs my practice, centered in Christ but open to all because I believe there is a Light that guides each person.

Typically we meet one-on-one in private sessions for about an hour each month and the flexible but suggested donation is $50.

I can be reached at andy.recoveringabundance@gmail.com. I'd love to hear from you! — Andy
